Job Description
SpineSearch is working with a leading healthcare organization and is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations. The CT Tech will be responsible for producing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer contrast media as required, following safety guidelines
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
- Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR/PACS
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in Radiography required; CT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Active state licensure as required
- Previous CT experience preferred; strong radiography background considered
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
