Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Assist pharmacists in managing inventory, stocking medications, and ensuring proper storage.
- Process prescription orders, verifying patient information and insurance details.
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support the pharmacy team by answering phone inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician credential preferred or equivalent pharmacy technician experience.
- Proficiency in prescription processing software and pharmacy systems.
- Knowledge of medications, dosage forms, and pharmacy regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
