About the Role:
At Hudson & West Hardwoods, every team member — from owner to associate — is first and foremost a customer service representative. This role is a 50/50 blend of customer service and warehouse work. You’ll help customers find the right woodworking supplies and tools, while also handling physical warehouse tasks like unloading, stocking, and forklift operation.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service

• Greet customers, answer product questions, and process sales at the register

• Provide woodworking supply knowledge and solutions (or direct to alternate sources if needed)

• Answer phone calls and assist with orders

• Maintain an organized and welcoming sales floor

Warehouse

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments

• Pick and pack orders accurately for customers

• Load and unload trucks and assist customers with large purchases

• Operate forklift (training provided if not certified)

• Keep warehouse and sales floor clean and safe

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong work ethic and dependability

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods

• Team player with great communication and time management skills

• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to be trained)

• Knowledge of woodworking or cabinetmaking tools a bonus

Schedule:

• Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
