Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Drywall & Interior Systems Estimator for a well-established, union commercial interiors contractor based in New Jersey with a strong project pipeline across NJ and NYC. This is a senior estimating role focused strictly on drywall and interior systems for commercial interior projects.
This position suits a highly technical estimator who values accuracy, professionalism, and long-term fit within a stable organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for drywall, framing, and interior systems
- Perform takeoffs from construction drawings
- Develop accurate, competitive pricing for commercial projects
- Review supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Support bid strategy and awarded project handoff
Requirements
- Extensive experience estimating drywall and interior systems only
- Proven NYC commercial drywall estimating experience
- Background with a specialty drywall/interiors contractor (not GC)
- Union experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of NYC market pricing and labor
