Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated 5 axis Mill-Turn Machinist to join their team to produce highly provisioned parts with tight tolerances. Responsibilities:
- Turn blueprints and sketches into reality by laying out work, developing processes, and performing setups
- Execute progressive machining operations with very tight tolerances
- Work closely with the engineering, quality, and supervision teams in a collaborative environment
- Identify the needs of tooling, materials and issues that arise with machining operations
- Use programming software or manual programming to set up machine jobs
- Use calipers, micrometers and necessary gauges to ensure every part meets standards, dimensional accuracy, and finish
- Share feedback to improve processes, tooling, and programs—your ideas matter here!
Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience operating CNC Mill-turn machines
- A strong knowledge of CNC programming with CAD/CAM software's is a PLUS!
- Strong problem-solving skills
