Job Title: Solderer Assembler
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components and integrated systems at both the component and chassis/module level.
- Perform precision surface mount and through-hole soldering, including feed-through soldering, using hand tools and appropriate equipment.
- Use a microscope for extended periods to perform detailed assembly and soldering work with excellent hand–eye coordination.
- Read, interpret, and accurately build to engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and assembly prints.
- Conduct RF testing and troubleshooting on assemblies using appropriate RF test equipment and tools.
- Utilize various equipment, including semi-automatic pick-and-place machines, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and basic test tools such as multimeters.
- Build a variety of cable assemblies, including ribbon cables, flex coax cables, semi-rigid cables, and RF cables.
- Assemble and build RF modules and chassis to specified standards and tolerances.
- Determine location, position, accuracy of fit, and conformity to contour of parts and assemblies according to assembly prints and specifications.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and auxiliary shop duties as instructed to support smooth production operations.
- Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste and support efficient manufacturing processes.
- Familiarize yourself with tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment and use them correctly and safely.
- Demonstrate ownership of work and maintain a strong focus on quality and workmanship in every task.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain awareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) requirements.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to clarify requirements, report issues, and support team objectives.
- Foster and maintain professional and productive working relationships with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Accept and apply instruction and professional feedback to continuously improve skills and performance.
- Use computer-based systems and tools to support assembly, testing, documentation, and production activities.
Essential Skills
- At least 5+ years of soldering and electronic assembly experience.
- Strong proficiency in surface mount soldering and through-hole soldering techniques.
- Ability to interpret and build from blueprints, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Experience assembling at both component and integrated system levels.
- Comfort using a microscope for extended periods for detailed assembly and inspection work.
- Excellent hand–eye coordination and consistent adherence to safety protocols.
- Experience with RF-related work or strong interest and aptitude to learn RF assembly and testing.
- Ability to use basic electronic test tools, with experience using a multimeter considered a plus.
- Demonstrated durability and self-reliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to support clear, accurate information sharing.

This is a Permanent position based out of Timonium, MD 21093.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
