Sanitation Worker – Bilingual English/Spanish Required
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Days: Monday–Friday
Shift: Overnight (10 PM start)
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Sanitation Worker to help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary food production environment. You will work with a team to clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and production areas to meet strict USDA, FDA, and customer standards. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires physical activity and attention to safety.
Must be Bilingual – English & Spanish (written and verbal).
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery to ensure full cleaning.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow all instructions.
- Prepare all equipment and areas for inspection.
- Follow all safety rules and wear the required protective equipment.
Requirements
- 1 year of sanitation experience required.
- Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written & verbal).
- Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Work Environment
- Work inside a food production facility with hot, cold, wet, or noisy areas.
- Some areas may be as cold as 40°ree;F (refrigeration zones).
- Standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the entire shift.
- Use of hoses, chemicals, and cleaning equipment daily.
Dress Code
- Full-length pants required (no shorts).
- Dress in layers or bring warm clothing for cold areas (around 40°ree;F).
- Personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) will be provided.
