Your new role as the Healthcare Customer Service Rep
- Assist patients, families, and providers with inquiries regarding insurance coverage, billing, claims, and healthcare services.
- Accurately update and maintain patient records, insurance information, and account details in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Resolve patient concerns by researching issues, coordinating with internal departments, and providing timely follow-up.
- Educate patients on healthcare benefits, payment options, and available resources to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
Your experience required for Healthcare Customer Service Rep:
- Experience taking multiple calls in a customer service office setting
- Prior Customer Service Experience in Healthcare or Insurance
- Must be able to navigate multiple software systems
