Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with children of varying abilities
- Ability to assist with academic activities, behavior management, and personal care tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or relevant certifications are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in preparing and delivering educational activities
- Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and skills
- Help maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment
- Aid students with special needs in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Contribute to classroom organization, material preparation, and clerical tasks
