Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in students’ lives with a rewarding contract opportunity as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist (CFs welcome), supporting elementary through high school age groups. Collaborate with dedicated school teams for the Extended School Year program, working part-time hours (20–26 hours per week) at a single school site—not itinerant. Bring your skills to either Royal Palm School (PreK-12) or Indian Ridge (K-12), both located in a vibrant, engaged community.
Start your assignment on June 10th and finish on July 16th, working Monday–Thursday in a structured, supportive setting. Hours vary by assignment: elementary and PreK staff typically work 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, secondary staff from 7:30 AM–1:00 PM, and K-12 staff at Royal Palm 8:45 AM–3:45 PM. Clinical Fellow supervision is available, ensuring a strong experience for those early in their careers.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active FL provisional (or higher) SLP license issued by the Department of Health
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting; familiarity with the AHCA Clearinghouse is a plus
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but well-supervised CFs are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech and language therapy to assigned caseloads
- Provide assessment, intervention, and communication with IEP teams and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district protocols
- Engage in professional collaboration with staff and administration
