Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role requires a creative individual with strong design skills and a passion for delivering visually compelling solutions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using industry-standard tools and software to produce high-quality designs that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Create visually appealing designs for various media formats, including digital and print, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Utilize design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft PowerPoint to develop layouts, graphics, and presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and execute design projects that meet user experience and responsive design standards.
• Apply basic knowledge of video editing and animation to enhance design projects when required.
• Leverage AI tools and solutions to optimize design workflows and explore creative possibilities.
• Ensure designs are production-ready by understanding printing procedures and preparing files accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing feedback.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.• A minimum of 4 years of experience working within a creative team; agency experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, XD, After Effects), Figma, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of user experience principles and responsive design.
• Familiarity with video editing and animation tools is an advantage but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and contribute to team discussions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Knowledge of printing processes, photography, and illustration.
• Comfort in utilizing AI tools and solutions to enhance design work.
