Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students across multiple grade levels in a school setting in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers opportunities for both part-time and full-time candidates who are passionate about working with children ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role is ideal for therapists experienced in providing occupational therapy services in educational environments, helping students achieve their developmental and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans
- Assess students functional abilities and track progress toward therapy goals
- Provide recommendations and support to enhance students academic and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Skills in working with children across multiple grade levels (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to design tailored interventions promoting independence and success in the classroom
