Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 20-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative wound and burn care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Hoyer lifts, air taps, and wound vacuums efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech electronic medical records.
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and wellbeing.
- Adhere to unit policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven Med-Surg nursing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with wound care and burn care is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Positive attitude and strong team player mindset.
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts on a contract basis.
