Location: Kansas City, MO 64101
Shift: Variable
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for nursing staff.
• Coordinate patient care activities and staff assignments during assigned shifts.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing team members, fostering professional development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics tracking.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports as per clinical and legal standards.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse Diploma (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or active compact state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Leadership/Management experience in Acute Care required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
