Compensation & Total Rewards Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s compensation and total rewards strategy, with primary focus on compensation program design and administration (willing to train on benefits if strong in compensation!)
- Design, implement, and maintain compensation programs for hourly, salaried, professional, management, and executive-level employees
- Develop and manage salary structures, pay grades, compensation frameworks, and job architecture programs
- Conduct compensation benchmarking, market pricing, and competitive pay analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Lead annual compensation planning processes including merit increases, promotional increases, market adjustments, and incentive programs
- Design and improve bonus programs, variable pay plans, and incentive compensation strategies
- Analyze compensation data, workforce trends, and market information to provide recommendations to leadership
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, Operations, and executive leadership to align compensation programs with business objectives
- Support compensation-related employee communications and manager education initiatives
- Maintain compensation-related HRIS data, reporting, and analytics
- Ensure compliance with applicable compensation, wage and hour, pay equity, and employment regulations
- Support employee benefits administration, open enrollment, and total rewards initiatives as needed
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and workplace accommodations
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources, Compensation, Total Rewards, or People Operations experience with significant compensation ownership
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing compensation programs across hourly/non-exempt, salaried, management, and executive populations
- Strong subject matter expertise in:

-Pay administration
- Experience conducting compensation analysis and presenting recommendations to leadership
- Experience supporting compensation planning within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or similar operational environments
- Strong analytical, reporting, and compensation modeling capabilities
- Experience with HRIS systems, compensation reporting, and workforce analytics
- Strong knowledge of wage and hour regulations and compensation-related compliance requirements
- Must be willing to work onsite full-time
Preferred Experience
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or production workforces
- Experience supporting hourly workforce compensation structures
- Experience with executive compensation, incentive programs, and variable pay plans
- Experience with employee benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Experience managing workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
