Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support the speech and language development of K-8 students in a dynamic school setting located in Sunnyvale, CA. This full-time contract position begins immediately and continues through the next school year, providing consistent support across a maximum of two campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language services to students.
- Manage a caseload of K-8 students across two campuses.
- Implement therapy plans, document student progress, and collaborate with school staff and families.
- Support students communication goals in a school environment, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification.
- Experience working with K-8 student populations in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments across two sites.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with staff, students, and families.
Location: Sunnyvale, California Serve two assigned campuses within the K-12 school system.
