About the Role:
As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs during surgery. Additionally, you will collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active nursing license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse, but will train the right candidate
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in perioperative nursing
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Experience with orthopedic/ total joints surgery
- Experience with ENT and image guidance surgery
- Experience with spine surgery
- Experience with eye/cataract surgery
- Experience with general surgery
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
- Document patient care and communicate with patients and their families
Skills:

You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals. Salary grade will be commensurate with degree of experience.
