Shift:
- 1st shift schedule 5:45am-2:15pm M-F
- 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm M-F
- (training for 2nd shift would occur on 1st shift schedule for 4-6 weeks.)
Pay:
- 1st shift $19-21.25 per hour & 2nd shift $19-$22.25 per hour.
Job Description:
The Production Assembler plays a key role in assembling medical solution products within a very clean and organized production setting. This role will be using a variety of tools, equipment, and processes while following detailed instructions and quality standards. This position involves hands-on work with mechanical components, active participation in continuous improvement efforts, and accurate documentation of production activities. The role suits someone who enjoys working with their hands, adapting to changing tasks, and contributing to a clean, efficient, and safety-focused manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate tools, equipment, and assembly processes in accordance with provided work instructions and established procedures.
- Will be utilizing electronic instructions to build components to spec, through descriptions and diagrams.
- Apply prior experience to operate tools and equipment with limited or no instructions when appropriate.
- Assist in creating or improving work instructions when existing documentation is incomplete or unavailable.
- Understand and follow standard work practices, including all applicable quality policies and customer specifications.
- Monitor personal work output to ensure it meets defined quality standards and product requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, escalating issues or concerns in a timely manner when necessary.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and labor tracking records for all assigned tasks and production activities.
- Record and maintain accurate inventory control data, process documentation, scrap information, and quality records.
- Support and actively participate in improvement initiatives focused on safety, cleanliness, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute new and innovative ideas and solutions to help resolve complex problems in the production process.
Essential Skills:
- At least 2+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or similar hands-on environment.
- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly diagrams and blueprints.
- Ability to use computers for basic tasks such as data entry, documentation, and accessing work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all assembly tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
