Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Senior BIM Engineer and Entry Level BIM Engineer to join our Piping Division in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical piping design, Revit modeling, and fabrication-level detailing. You’ll lead BIM coordination efforts, develop detailed models and shop drawings, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure accurate, constructible designs.
Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed 3D piping models in Revit.
</li>
<li>
Create fabrication-level drawings and coordinate with field and shop teams.
</li>
<li>
Lead clash detection and model coordination with other trades.
</li>
<li>
Mentor junior BIM staff and review their work for quality and accuracy.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with project engineers and managers to meet project deadlines.
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
2-5+ years of experience in BIM or mechanical piping design.
</li>
<li>
Proficient in Autodesk Revit; experience with Fabrication CADmep or Plant 3D a plus.
</li>
<li>
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes.
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
</li>
<li>
Local to the Charlotte, NC area (or willing to relocate).
</li>
