Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide specialized cardiovascular care in a dynamic hospital setting located in Cimarron, KS. This contract position involves working within a single cath lab suite averaging 2-3 cases daily, supporting cardiologists in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be prepared for a collaborative role with an established team of two additional cath lab techs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and monitor cardiovascular catheterization procedures
- Utilize expertise with GE imaging and hemodynamic systems
- Respond to on-call requests with a 30-minute response time; rotating weekend and holiday call responsibilities
- Participate in unit-specific orientation covering Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR areas
- Maintain compliance with hospital color/dress code wearing laundered scrubs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Kansas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Proven prior experience in a cardiovascular Cath Lab setting
- Ability to work with EMR systems relevant to cardiovascular imaging and hemodynamic monitoring
- Must have reliable transportationdrivers license documentation required for application
- Willingness and ability to be present in-state for orientation week, including remote initial modules
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Standard daytime shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 24/7 on-call rotation with weekend and holiday call duties
- No floating required outside Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR areas
- Collaborative environment under the direction of the Cath Lab Manager and Director
