Overview: Smosh is seeking a highly skilled, organized, strategic & inventive Senior Graphic Designer to support and evolve the visual identity of the Smosh brand across all channels: Smosh, SmoshPit, SmoshGames, SmoshCast, and Smoshalike.
This is a highly hands-on role for a designer who thrives in a fast-moving, comedy-driven environment and cares deeply about craft, consistency, and storytelling through design. Youll work closely with the Design Director to bring creative concepts to life, support major brand initiatives, and execute everything from daily assets to large-scale branding moments.
This position reports directly to the Design Director.

Responsibilities
- Support Design Creation
- Branded Materials Assist the Design Director in the creation of pitch decks, marketing assets, and internal presentations that reflect Smoshs unique identity.
- Creative Concepts contribute to the concepts & execution for tentpole events, live shows, and channel rebrands, including Smosh Games, Smosh Pit, and SmoshCast.
- Maintain and Evolve Visual Identity Ensure consistent brand representation across YouTube channels, live shows, merch, and social content.
- Present and Pitch Creative Provide clear rationale for design decisions to executives while remaining open to collaboration and comedy-driven input
- Project & Workflow Ownership Manage incoming design requests, timelines, and ensure projects stay on track.
- Collaborate Across Teams Partner with producers, directors, social, marketing, thumbnail & channel operations teams to maintain visual consistency and meet project objectives.
- Contribute to Thumbnail Approval Process Ideate and develop & refresh thumbnail designs, enforce creative standards, and maintain a cohesive multi-channel thumbnail strategy.
- Maintain Graphics Library Partner with the design team to keep all assets organized and accessible across departments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio in digital media and branding.
- Proficiency in Photoshop is essential; experience with After Effects, Illustrator, and Figma is a plus.
- Experience creating key visual assets (e.g., thumbnails, key art, social content).
- Strong understanding of industry trends and audience-relevant design, with attention to detail and an ability to move quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills, project management abilities, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, collaborative mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Illustration skills and motion graphics experience are a plus.
