Job Description
We are seeking two dedicated assemblers for the day shift to join our dynamic team. The role involves performing touch-up painting as directed, complying with all safety, quality, and work regulations, and setting up, operating, and maintaining production tools and equipment. The assembler will keep the supervisor informed of any issues, progress, and suggestions in a timely manner. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times is essential. Identifying cost-effective alternative methods for processes and materials, and keeping red-lines and markups of any drawing changes required during manufacturing are important tasks. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform touch-up painting as directed.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and work rules, guidelines, and regulations.
- Set up, operate, and maintain production tools and equipment.
- Keep the supervisor informed of problems, progress, and suggestions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Identify opportunities for cost-effective alternative methods to process and materials.
- Keep red-lines and markups of any drawing changes required during manufacturing.
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with power tools and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Previous assembly experience is preferred.
- Comfortability with using power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Understanding of production and assembly processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with assembly or construction is advantageous.
- Ability to read product drawings and blueprints is beneficial.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, open-space warehouse that operates like a machine shop. Employees spend approximately 10% of their time sitting and 90% walking or standing. The role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and involves bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing. Long periods of close work with small fonts and fine print on drawings are necessary, requiring good vision for detailed items.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
