Position: Human Resource Generalist
Term: 6 month contract, potential for hire
LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with an organization in Overland Park, KS, to find a dedicated Human Resource Generalist. This role is pivotal in in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with people at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:

Support the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee education.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS.

Support performance management and employee development initiatives.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong working knowledge of HR best practices.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.

Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is highly preferred.

Proven experience as an HR Generalist with at least 5 years of experience including, recruitment, onboardings, benefits and/or payroll administration.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Prior experience with ADP Software, preferred.
Pay Details: $1.00 per hour
