Position Summary
The Marketing Manager of Good Foods Grocery is responsible for leading, managing, and holding accountable to the marketing and promotions of the store, delivering high-quality campaigns, content, and initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role integrates the marketing function for Good Foods Grocery (GFG) and works closely with Commonwealth Autism to bring in the mission’s story telling. The Marketing Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and manage contractors for support. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure all marketing efforts effectively support brand awareness, revenue growth, and mission impact, while upholding our company’s culture and values.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee all marketing initiatives for Good Foods Grocery, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking timelines, approvals, and deliverables.
- Balance short-term promotional needs (weekly ads, events, sales) with long-term brand-building initiatives.
- Maintain and optimize project management tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with Programs and Development for cross promotion and storytelling.
Campaign Oversight
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, print, in-store, and community channels.
- Lead marketing efforts for promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, store events, and community partnerships.
- Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and customer engagement; adjust strategies using data and insights.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with key departments (Development, Programs, Retail, Operations) to ensure marketing initiatives support organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop messaging that aligns with strategic goals and audience needs.
- Serve as a bridge between teams to ensure timely communication, alignment, and delivery of shared objectives.
- Support company-wide events, initiatives, and communications.
Performance & Budget Oversight
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, reporting outcomes to the COO and leadership team.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of funds, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Evaluate vendor contracts, advertising spend, and media investments for effectiveness and ROI.
- Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and cost efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, including supervisory or project management roles.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms, and project management software.
- Experience managing budgets and analyzing marketing performance metrics.
