Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting both low and high-volume machined components. You will set up and operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS and perform 1st Article and final inspections. Additionally, you will support in-process inspections on the shop floor as needed, accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and travelers, recognize and communicate quality issues to management, assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined components for quality assurance.
- Operate and set up CMM machines with PC-DMIS.
- Conduct 1st Article and final inspections.
- Support in-process inspections on the shop floor.
- Document inspection results accurately.
- Identify and communicate quality issues.
- Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA).
- Support ISO and ITAR compliance efforts.
Essential Skills
- 5 years or more of quality inspection experience in the medical or aerospace device machined components industry.
- Experience in CMM setup and operation.
- Proficiency with PC-DMIS.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to identify quality issues both visually and dimensionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Shop math experience.
- Experience with print-to-part processes.
- Familiarity with machined components.

Work Environment
You will be working in a machine shop that specializes in tight tolerances, primarily serving the medical device industry but also supporting aerospace, defense, and high technology sectors. The shop maintains a clean room for assembling neuro-implantable devices and is certified to industry standards. The team consists of approximately 25 people, providing a collaborative and focused work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $59000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
