We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee the 2nd shift operations. This role involves planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee up to twenty direct reports, providing coaching and development.
- Delegate tasks efficiently and hold team members accountable.
- Manage departmental performance measures to ensure optimal output.
- Utilize Microsoft Office software to generate comprehensive reports, including visual controls, progress reports, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with other leaders across departments such as HR and Operations.
- Work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to different environmental conditions as needed.
Essential Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in Quality Supervision.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and performing manual quality checks on chassis frames according to prints.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office software for report generation.
- Ability to work in various environments, both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks and maintain accountability.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment
This position is based in a powder coating facility focusing on finishing products from other plants in the area. The environment includes welders, blast booths, large lay down yards, and ovens, creating a hotter and fast-paced work setting. The work schedule is 2nd shift from 4pm to 2am, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $58240.00/yr.
