Description 
Summary:
Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.</li>
<li>Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.</li>
<li>Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake.</li>
<li>Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors. </li>
<li>Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds. </li>
</ul>
Job Requirements: 
Education/Skills
<ul>
<li>
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul>
<li>
Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
</li>
</ul>
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
<ul>
<li>BLS required.</li>
</ul>
