The Line Cook will have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
· Champions our Code of Conduct policy and always adheres to professionalism
· Always adheres to our company policies and procedures.
· Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set for by company management.
· Cooks’ food to make it piping hot, great tasting and visually appealing.
· Cooks’ food using FIFO (First In / First Out) system to ensure fresh food is as fresh as possible.
· Prepares meals by following standardized recipes, using appropriate cooking methods and cooking tools
· Coordinates food preparation to ensure all items of an order are completed order of guest consumption.
· Handle and store ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
· Monitor food stock and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager.
· Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
· Participate in daily kitchen prep and cleaning tasks.
· Stocks line area with appropriate food items and sanitized equipment.
· Cleans and sanitizes workstations during volume periods and at the end of the shift to ensure a safe and sanitized working environment.
· Operates all equipment and uses all chemical compounds properly and safely.
· Practices hospitality with all guests and team members to make Aces & Eights Casino a special place to enjoy our food/drinks and work.
· Performs duties that require bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, and transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Maintains Food Handlers certification recognized by the state of New Hampshire.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role preferred.
· Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
