What It Takes to Win in This Role
Client Support & Service Excellence
- Assist in preparing client meeting materials, reports, and presentations.
- Support client communication by responding to routine inquiries and coordinating follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in portfolio management and CRM systems.
Financial Planning & Analysis Support
- Gather and organize client financial data for planning purposes.
- Assist with financial plan updates, cash flow projections, and scenario modeling.
- Learn and apply financial planning software and investment analysis tools under supervision.
Professional Development & Learning
- Develop technical knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and client service best practices.
- Shadow senior advisors in client meetings and learn relationship management skills.
- Work toward obtaining CFP designation and relevant securities licenses.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field. 0-2 years of experience in financial services or related client-facing role.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled in or committed to CFP program.
- Previous internship or experience in wealth management or financial planning.
- Familiarity with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, etc.).
- Strong academic record with finance or related coursework.
- Demonstrated interest in serving clients and building long-term relationships.
