Lathe Machinist
Job Description
Operate one or two CNC lathe machining centers to produce aerospace and medical parts. Inspect parts using basic inspection equipment and perform necessary documentation for ISO audits. Production runs typically range from 100-500 parts, requiring changeovers from one lathe machine to another. Monitor machines to ensure measurements meet tight tolerance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate lathe machining centers for aerospace and medical part production.
- Inspect parts using basic inspection equipment.
- Complete necessary documentation for ISO audits.
- Perform changeovers between lathe machines after production runs.
- Monitor machines to ensure precision and accuracy of measurements.
Essential Skills
- Technical degree and/or 2+ years of professional machining experience.
- Experience operating CNC lathe machines.
- Ability to inspect own parts and read blueprints.
- Proficiency with lathe setup, programming, and operation.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Hardinge IIISP, 42SP, and Fanuc controls is a plus.
- Ability to fully set up machines for runs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
