Job Description
Join our team as a Machinist, where you will operate both computer and manually controlled machines to fabricate materials, manage production runs, and ensure quality standards are met. This role involves working on both day and swing shifts, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and complete production jobs on CNC Mills, ensuring parts meet quality standards.
- Work with lathes such as Haas TL-2 and manual machines.
- Setup and operate CNC machines, including loading programs and setting work/tool offsets.
- Utilize Haas controls to input G & M codes and calculate feeds and speeds.
- Study blueprints, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform setups on multiple CNC Vertical Mills and troubleshoot operations as needed.
- Detect malfunctions in machine operations and perform necessary adjustments.
- Inspect parts using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment with precision lathe and mill setup.
- Proficiency in reading drawings and making offset changes independently.
- Knowledge of manual inspection equipment and FAI processes.
- Extensive machine shop and metalworking skills.
- Experience with Haas controls and CNC machine setup.
- Proficient in Mastercam/G&M code.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills and good math skills, including trigonometry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Manual machining experience preferred.
- Trade school training and experience in a lean manufacturing environment are a plus.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Dependability, honesty, integrity, and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to work overtime as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $56160.00/yr.
