Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support communication needs within a school setting located in Minot Air Force Base, ND. This role requires expertise in American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate effective interaction between students, staff, and the educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and clear sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students requiring sign language services
• Assist in creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment
• Travel as needed to support various school functions and related activities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language with certification preferred
• Experience working as an interpreter in educational settings
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and communication needs
• Ability to travel for work-related assignments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
