We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in St Paul, Minnesota, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Safety, Health, and Environmental team while managing and resolving auto liability claims. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic corporate environment and contribute to efforts that minimize financial loss and operational risks.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, and tracking of auto liability claims, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing exposure to financial loss.

• Coordinate communication related to claims with various departments, including safety, operations, finance, administration, risk management, and legal.

• Obtain and analyze necessary documentation, records, statements, and regulations to thoroughly investigate the scope of claims or incidents.

• Provide administrative support for the Pest Elimination Division’s dash camera program, ensuring efficient operation and recordkeeping.

• Assist in safety training initiatives and maintain accurate records of leading indicators to support compliance and risk reduction.

• Estimate costs and perform exposure/coverage analyses to assess claim impacts and guide decision-making.

• Collaborate with division and corporate management to develop strategies for reducing liability and enhancing operational safety.

• Maintain organized case files and templates for streamlined claim processing and documentation.

• Support regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring all claims and incidents are handled in accordance with applicable laws and standards.

• Foster effective communication, both written and verbal, to ensure clarity and coordination across all involved parties.

• Bachelor’s degree or at least one year of experience in insurance claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks, including documentation, recordkeeping, and data management.
• Experience in handling auto liability insurance claims, with a preference for multi-line insurance carrier exposure.
• Familiarity with risk management principles and practices.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and interpret regulations, statements, and other claim-related documentation.
• Preferred experience in fields related to pest control or field service organizations.
