Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist supporting students in the PreK population. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 24, 2026, providing the chance to make an impact over multiple school years.
Utilizing your expertise in pediatric and school-based PT, you will focus on helping young learners reach their fullest potential. Collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists is central to your work—fostering both student growth and a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Physical Therapist license
- Experience in school settings, preferably with PreK or early childhood students
- Understanding of IEPs, documentation, and the delivery of services in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt interventions that meet the diverse needs of young children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK students
- Help implement gross motor skill development and mobility interventions
- Monitor progress, document results, and attend IEP meetings as needed
- Work collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student goals
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all students
