Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve in an elementary school setting in Camas, WA. This contract role offers an opportunity to utilize expertise in school-based speech therapy, supporting elementary-aged students with diverse communication needs. The position begins as soon as possible and requires a valid Washington ESA certification.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with School Credential or Certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy and in-person therapy delivery methods
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of healthcare settings and CCC certification is preferred
Location & Position Details:
- Elementary school location in Camas, Washington
- Contract duration aligned with the current school year (CSY)
- Opportunity to conduct services through virtual platforms, including teletherapy programs like Anna Locke VBD
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing students communication needs
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to classroom and individual goals, utilizing teletherapy and direct interaction
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting according to state and district guidelines
