Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (Rotating Shifts)

Shifts may include: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Occasional weekends and holidays required
Compensation:
-
Travel Pay: $33 – $35/hr ($1,320 – $1,400/week)

Local Pay: $28 – $30/hr ($1,120 – $1,200/week)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Donor Care Specialist to support blood donation services through donor recruitment, screening, and collection. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive experience for all blood donors while meeting regulatory and quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct donor screening to determine eligibility in accordance with regulatory standards.

Perform whole blood collection and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures.

Assist in both on-site donor centers and off-site blood drives.

Prepare, label, and handle blood components and samples for testing.

Maintain accurate donor records, including data entry and deferral documentation.

Ensure compliance with all quality control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Assist in donor recruitment initiatives and outreach programs.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Prior phlebotomy experience required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:

National certification in phlebotomy.

Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
