A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for a per diem position in Mesa, AZ, offering a chance to support urgent backfill needs. This role requires strong retail pharmacy experience and active licensure in the state of Arizona. Ideal candidates will be available to work primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays with shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient allergies are checked before dispensing.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, adhering to organizational policies.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience.
- Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with a team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians.
- Comfortable managing a daily prescription volume under 100.
Schedule:
- Wednesdays and Thursdays
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
