This opportunity is for a registered nurse with medical-surgical experience to work a night shift (7 PM to 7 AM) on an orthopedic medical-surgical unit in Aurora, CO. This role is on a 20-bed unit known for its positive teamwork and dedication to quality patient care. The assignment is a contract position ideal for nurses comfortable managing multiple patients independently in a surgical environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current RN licensure with medical-surgical clinical experience
- Ability to independently care for 5 patients
- Surgical unit experience required
- Preferred: Pain management and orthopedic nursing experience
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and trauma patients on the unit
- Perform dressing changes, aspirations, and other unit-specific procedures
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate documentation
- Collaborate effectively with a dedicated nursing team to enhance patient outcomes
Schedule
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
