As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients gain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide hands-on therapy and support to patients across various healthcare settings. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of rehabilitative services.General Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence in daily activities
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
- Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment plans and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Pay: 42+/hour, up to 10-15 hours per week
