Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years in construction accounting strongly preferred
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred
• Strong understanding of:
• • Job costing
  • WIP reporting
  • Percentage of Completion Revenue Recognition
  • Over/under billings
• Experience with accounting software (Sage, Acumatica, QuickBooks, Vista by Viewpoint, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain general ledger integrity and chart of accounts
• Manage job cost tracking and cost code accuracy
• Prepare and analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules (over/under billings)
• Manage all receivables and payables
