A long-established and popular pub is seeking an experienced, mature, and responsible General Manager to oversee daily operations. We’re looking for a self-starter who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to growing the business while maintaining an excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Hire, train, and mentor staff to maintain a high standard of performance and guest service.

Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Manage scheduling, labor costs, and inventory to ensure operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation, maintaining consistency with company standards.

Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with ownership on budgeting, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems and drive business growth.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and cost control.

Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in staff training and development.

Knowledge of bar operations, mixology, and food service.

Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
