A long-established and popular pub is seeking an experienced, mature, and responsible General Manager to oversee daily operations. We’re looking for a self-starter who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to growing the business while maintaining an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

• Hire, train, and mentor staff to maintain a high standard of performance and guest service.

• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and inventory to ensure operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

• Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation, maintaining consistency with company standards.

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

• Collaborate with ownership on budgeting, marketing, and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems and drive business growth.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and cost control.

• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in staff training and development.

• Knowledge of bar operations, mixology, and food service.

• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
