Location: 715 S 59th Ave W Duluth, MN 55807

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday

Starting Salary: $45,000 - $55,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations and Shipping Specialist to join our logistics and operations team. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse to support accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Job duties also include operating heavy equipment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient daily operations and ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:

Ideal candidates come with mechanical aptitude, construction experience, or automotive repair experience. Experience working with tools, equipment, materials, or hands-on problem solving in construction, automotive, or trade related environments is a plus. Applicants with construction and/or auto mechanic backgrounds please provide examples of relevant work experience along with your resume.
The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and moving heavy boxes, standing or walking for extended periods, and operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. They are confident using basic computer systems and possess solid basic math skills.
If you’ve worked as a mechanic, laborer, installer, or in a construction or shop environment and are comfortable maintaining equipment and spotting mechanical issues before they become problems, your skills will translate well into this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
  • Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Equipment maintenance : Equipment Inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, adjustments, or general upkeep of tools and machinery.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation
  • Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience a plus, but not required.
  • Works well within a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Basic computer or handheld scanner skills preferred.
