AlliedOP is looking for a Certified Orthotic Fitter (CFo) in our Randolph, NJ office. Our seasoned team is looking for a Certified Orthotic Fitter that will provide patient evaluation, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan and practice management. Main Responsibilities

· Provide Orthotic Patient Assessment & Treatment

· Experience in Casting and Molding Techniques, Device Fabrication, Fitting and Adjustment, Modifications and Repairs

· Participate in Team Communications & Clinical Team Leadership

· Ability to Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals and Practitioners

· Participate in internal training.

· Participate in rotating on call schedule.

· Collaborate with orthotic practitioners in the evaluation and analysis of a patient’s need for orthotic services.

· Examine and evaluate patient's needs in relation to disease and functional loss as prescribed by the physician.

· Administers orthotic braces and devices to clients as prescribed by the physician.

· Be comfortable using fabrication machinery for device modifications as necessary.

· Evaluate orthotic device on patient, adjust to assure fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality of work.

· Instruct patient in use of orthotic device.

· Identify and reconcile issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided.

· Provide follow-up with patients and physicians.

· Provide in-service training to physicians and allied health care professionals.

· Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records.

· Provide assistance to other clinical staff.

· Provide information to administrative staff to conduct reimbursement activities.

· Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare and other governmental regulations; compliance with blood borne and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

· Perform Other Duties as Assigned that Support Team & Organizational Success


Position Requirements

· Current CFo Certification by the American Board for Certification (ABC)

· Must be able and willing to adapt to new technology and techniques

· Excellent communication skills
