Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An onsite school psychologist opportunity is available at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers full-time work (1.0 FTE) starting immediately through May 22. Ideal candidates are energetic and positive professionals who can clearly articulate their experience and skills during a two-step interview process, first with the Special Education Coordinator and then with the School Principal.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education
- Strong interview and communication skills to effectively showcase experience
- Energetic, lively, and positive demeanor
- Previous experience managing a caseload of approximately 40 students in a school setting
Location:
- Aurora, Colorado (onsite only at an elementary school)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families
- Provide counseling and support services tailored to student needs
- Participate actively in school meetings and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
