Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide onsite support at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. Serving a caseload of approximately 40 students, you will play a key role in assessing and supporting the psychological and educational needs of elementary-aged children. This contract position runs from December 8 through May 22 with a full-time workload (1.0 FTE).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and district policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid school psychologist credentials/licensure
  • Experience working in an elementary school environment preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and behavioral interventions
  • Ability to work effectively onsite and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
