Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide a blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy services in a specialty pharmacy setting. The role is based in the Bovey, MN area and offers a contract duration of 13+ weeks. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage both retail and long-term care pharmacy responsibilities efficiently.
Location:
- Bovey, MN (with work performed primarily in Grand Rapids area)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Possible rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately in a retail pharmacy environment
- Manage long-term care pharmacy services, including medication therapy management
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Provide patient counseling, immunizations, and clinical services
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota pharmacist license required
- PharmD degree or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
- Immunization certification and CPR training
- Previous experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy preferred
