ASSEMBLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $15.40/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time, Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, E Shift (3-2-2-3 rotation)
- Must be flexible to work extended hours as needed
ASSEMBLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Assembler will support the manufacturing and assembly of medical devices. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring products meet strict quality and safety standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
ASSEMBLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform assembly, fabrication, testing, and packaging of medical devices
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections in accordance with specifications
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
- Inspect parts and ensure accuracy and consistency
- Rotate between tasks and responsibilities as needed
ASSEMBLER | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions in English
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Comfortable using basic measurement tools (e.g., microscopes)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs as needed
Additional Information
- Steel toe shoes are required
- Eye exam required upon hire (must meet vision requirements, with or without corrective lenses)
- Must be flexible to work extended hours as needed
