In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care under the supervision of individuals licensed by a state regulatory board to prescribe treatments and medications, or under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will maintain professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and coordinate care in collaboration with other departments.

The LPN will utilize the nursing process to ensure patient care is delivered effectively under the supervision of licensed professionals or RNs. You will be responsible for maintaining accountability for the care of your assigned patients and coordinating with other departments.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational experience and successful licensure may also be considered.
- Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state where nursing duties are performed, fulfilling all requirements set by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit, including:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Requirements:
The role requires standing and walking for most of the shift, along with significant bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn patients with assistance. You should be able to push, pull, and grip weights of up to 50 pounds.
