Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year in a K-12 public school setting located in Elk Grove, CA. This contract role offers a consistent 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, serving students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade at a single school site. The position requires an on-site presence to provide direct speech and language therapy services during the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Design and implement therapy interventions tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in meetings and IEP development as required by school policies
