This position is located in Joliet, IL, serving a diverse population of approximately 1,000 students across the elementary level, specifically focusing on 6th to 8th grade ages. The contract runs for the entire school year, allowing for continuity and growth within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois
- Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, particularly with reevaluations
- Ability to facilitate domain and eligibility meetings
- Understanding of MTSS frameworks and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Facilitate and lead domain and eligibility meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among staff and parents
- Participate in problem-solving (MTSS) meetings to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment results
- Provide consultation services to teachers and staff regarding student needs and best practices
- Run small groups or individual sessions as needed, depending on interests and expertise
